Measurement Chart

Explanation of the Measurement Chart:

The values given in the Measurement Chart are explained in the following illustrations (Velochecker and frame geometry).

Three points on the frame are important for riding posture:

   1.
Bottom bracket
   2. Seat lug
   3. Head tube

The Velochecker can be adjusted to precisely model the relative position of these three frame points.

The columns of the Measurement Chart that show the values labelled in the Velochecker illustration are shaded orange.

The frame geometry is labelled in the bicycle illustration. These values are also listed in the Measurement Chart.

A brief summary of how to determine a rider’s ideal frame geometry using a Velochecker:

1. Select model and frame type; then calculate frame height
2. Adjust the Velochecker to the respective frame measurements
3. Check riding posture
4. Optimise riding posture by varying handlebars and stem
5. If necessary: choose a new frame size (return to step 2) or decide for a customised frame
