All Patria bikes are equipped with lightweight and stiff aluminium rims and high-quality stainless steel spokes. Ground or machined braking surfaces guarantee excellent brake performance in combination with high-quality brakes, even in wet conditions.

Reinforced double-walled rims
with double eyelets and the especially high-strength swaged spokes on the rear wheel are standard features on many Patria bikes. Special wear indicators warn you in advance when the rim wall has begun to wear too thin, and it’s time to replace the rims. It is wise to use reinforced rims if you often transport heavy loads and/or take rides in rough terrain.

For especially heavy-duty use you can have the front wheel made with a cartridge-bearing hub, which is especially smooth and durable.
