All Patria bikes with lighting systems are equipped with an effective halogen headlight and a high-power taillight with stand light. Twin-core wiring and dependable plug contacts are standard lighting system features on Patria bikes. In order to avoid problems with corrosion of the contacts, electricity is not conducted through the fender.

With the stand light Selectra Plus from Busch & Müller an electronic control system keeps the light burning when the bike is stationary. A brighter light output and LEDs on the right and left side of the taillight provide for added safety.

The headlight Lumotec IQ Fly has a light output of up to 40 lux – this is 300% more than required by the German road traffic regulations “StVZO”. Its light field is uniformly illuminated and twice as wide as those of conventional headlights. If you often ride in the dark this technology is a very wise investment: The added safety is tremendous.
