1. Sitting Position
What sitting position do you prefer, and what is your riding style?

The Dutch bicycle sitting position. Upright and comfortable, for a calm riding style. You prefer to enjoy a relaxed ride, cruising and sitting comfortably.

The all-round sitting position. Leaning slightly forward from the hips takes the stress off the back and makes it easier to control the bike. This position is comfortable but still appropriate for faster riding.

The dynamic sitting position. Leaning forward for quick and dynamic riding. The upper torso and arm muscles are more active in the propulsion. This position is also good for long distances.

The sporty sitting position. Athletically the most effective position for speed. When you are accelerating or climbing hills your upper body strength can be used optimally. This position allows for a fluid change in movement to pedalling in or out of the saddle.
The sitting position can also be varied with individual bikes. For example the choice of a different handlebar can change the angle of the upper body.
Every bicycle model is categorised according to sitting position in order to help you narrow down your choice.
